“Braga is unfortunately a very conservative town which is reflected in the dominance of the Roman Catholic faith and church. The amenities and restaurant/bars on our visit do not reflect the rest of Portugal. Guimaraes is distinctly better in this respect, but still unlike many other towns in Portugal.”
