“We really enjoyed the excursion during our holiday in Porto! Our guide Pedro picked us up on time at our appartement and it was a comfortable ride with nice conversations. The high bridge gives a nice view and it was a convenient walk over the wooden walkways. The lunch in the afternoon was delicious, more of a dinner meal! As the walkways are partly burned, a drive to Aveiro was added with a boat trip on the river which was worth it. Pedro, thanks for the excellent day trip!”

“Braga is unfortunately a very conservative town which is reflected in the dominance of the Roman Catholic faith and church. The amenities and restaurant/bars on our visit do not reflect the rest of Portugal. Guimaraes is distinctly better in this respect, but still unlike many other towns in Portugal.”

Cristian effortlessly moved from Portuguese to English, providing excellent information about Porto and Santiago de Compostela. We appreciated the toilet stops and how we did not have to pay to enter. The city centre of Santiago is beautiful and it was inspirational to see the Pilgrims arrive from their long faith walks to step into the shell before they headed to mass.
