“My wife and I visited Taylors port cellars one Saturday morning with friends. The tour was self guided with a hand held commentary device, which was good in that you could go and your own pace. Following the tour, which was very interesting we went to the port tasting area. The guide who explained each port was very knowledgably and the ports were excellent. The port cellars are in beautiful grounds and I would say a short taxi ride (not expensive, 5 euros) from the centre of Porto. For obvious reasons the cellars are cool, so it might be worth taking a jumper/coat. Would recommend the tour.”
